I live what I like to call a brutally beautiful life. I have experienced profound hardships, and while not alone in this human condition of suffering, I've found that by opening my heart to the pain and letting love fill the cracks in my mind, body, and spirit, I have found joy, happiness, and peace despite the brutal moments this life has given me: sexual abuse survivor, father lived with multiple strokes and M.S., mother, and brother severe mental health issues, my own five years of being bedridden, my son now living life as a T12 Paraplegic, father passed by sue Ed, and mother living with Alzheimer's/vascular dementia to name a few has not hardened me but has made my love deeper, love to the fullest, and cherish each second I have on this planet. I believe forgiveness and choice, voice and vulnerability, and the rejuvenation power of nature are some of our most vital tools to heal. I will share my story and how I use these to heal my broken spirit and heart to grow and thrive.
